Curator / Artist / Cultural producer01 / Exhibitions
Art, culture and the communities built between them.
Fabien “LeoGami” Bolle-Soazandry is an artist, curator and cultural producer whose work connects portraiture, moving image, physical exhibitions and digital communities.
His journey through the art world began with making work as a form of recognition—creating portraits, celebrating cultural figures and placing art directly into the hands of the people who inspired it. That instinct developed into a wider curatorial practice: building platforms for overlooked perspectives, opening institutional spaces to new audiences and helping artists move between physical and digital worlds.
“Art becomes more powerful when people can see themselves inside it.”
02 / Selected impact
From institutional rooms to a global creative network.
03 / Art as exchange
Portraits made to be experienced, not simply displayed.

Before building exhibitions and cultural platforms, LeoGami’s art practice centred on portraiture and personal exchange. The finished originals were presented directly to their subjects—turning portraiture into both an artwork and an encounter.

John Boyega
An original portrait exploring contemporary Black identity, cultural visibility and the emergence of a new generation of British creative figures—personally gifted to the actor.

The Floacist
An original portrait gifted to Natalie “The Floacist” Stewart of Floetry, recognising the singular voice she shaped through poetry, music and performance.

Tye Tribbett
An original portrait gifted to the Grammy Award-winning gospel artist, celebrating the energy, movement and spiritual expression at the centre of his work.

From making art to shaping cultural experiences.
Cut The Chat × Chris Ofili
As part of BRING THE NOISE!, our podcast Cut The Chat staged a whole-building takeover of Tate Britain in support of Chris Ofili’s exhibition. We brought the full barbershop experience into the gallery—creating a lively, accessible space for conversation between art, culture and new audiences.

Tate Britain also asked us to create a review film of the Chris Ofili exhibition as part of BRING THE NOISE!—translating the experience into a character-led response for audiences beyond the gallery.

First institutional presentation
A month-long exhibition of original artwork at the former US Embassy in Grosvenor Square marked LeoGami’s first presentation of a complete artistic practice within an international institution.
The event carried particular historical significance: it was the final exhibition held inside the former American Embassy before the diplomatic mission relocated to its new building in Nine Elms, Battersea. The presentation therefore became both a personal milestone and part of the closing cultural chapter of an iconic London building.

African Impact

A programme positioning African creativity, identity and influence as a living, evolving force—bringing artists, ideas and cultural perspectives across disciplines and generations into Tate Exchange.

Tania Bruguera’s Hyundai Commission

As part of Tate Neighbours, LeoGami contributed to the community-led process surrounding Tania Bruguera’s Hyundai Commission at Tate Modern. The project explored migration, collective action and the relationship between the institution and the communities living around it.
The commission included renaming Tate Modern’s Boiler House as the Natalie Bell Building, recognising a local activist whose work has supported communities across Southwark. Initially introduced through the commission, the name has since been made permanent—creating an enduring institutional legacy shaped by community participation.
His involvement formed part of a wider creative practice connecting artists, major cultural institutions and local communities through participatory cultural experiences.

Memory / Music / Cultural legacy
Bob & I
The Hospital Club, London
An intimate and rarely seen chapter in the story of Bob Marley.
Co-curated with photographer, filmmaker and cultural historian Esther Anderson, the exhibition presented archival photographs from Marley’s early life—before the internationally recognised iconography had fully emerged.
LeoGami helped connect Anderson’s archive with a contemporary audience while protecting the intimacy, authorship and historical importance of the material.

06 / Building a digital art community
From curating exhibitions to building the platform.
LeoGami founded NFT_Community to discover, support and connect artists working across digital art, emerging technology and online culture.
What began as an independent social platform grew into a community of more than 235,000 followers across Instagram and X—providing visibility for thousands of creators while digital art was still fighting for wider cultural legitimacy.
The next step was physical: exhibitions and international activations connecting artists discovered online with galleries, collectors, institutions and new audiences.
